ADVANCES IN DIGITAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY AND SIMULATION

Australia's healthcare must evolve over the next two decades to address health inequality and implement public health education. This requires integrated, technology-driven approaches to meet community needs.

Join this workshop with the Graeme Clark Institute for Biomedical Engineering to bridge clinical expertise and digital health technology research. Topics include modelling cells, managing large-scale data integration, AI, data management, human-computer interactions, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

The workshop aims to develop community-focused digital health technologies, explore personalised care through data, connect lab research with clinical practice, accelerate medical technologies, and redefine healthcare delivery. Participate in interactive sessions and networking opportunities designed to catalyse the development of digital health technologies that are not only technologically advanced but also ethically sound, secure, and inclusive.

This event is a collaborative effort with support from members of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Computing and Information Systems, Melbourne Centre for Data Science and Centre for Digital Transformation of Health to foster innovation that resonates with community needs and paves the way for a sustainable healthcare future.

Workshop attendees will be among the first to celebrate the launch of a new Research Theme “Digital Health Technologies and Simulation” at the GCI/MedTech Platform, have the opportunity to explore the ways they can get involved and learn about potential support schemes under this new theme.

If you are researchers from the University of Melbourne, affiliated partners, other educational institutions, clinical hospitals and commercialised companies who are interested in AI, data management, Human Computer Interactions, wellness and health issues to be addressed by digital solutions as well as accelerating translational research and interdisciplinary collaborations, then this workshop is for you!
